Luke Oppenheimer

Director of Photo Documentation

Luke has a Bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies with specialties in Spanish and History from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He also has a degree from the International Center of Photography in New York with a focus in Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism; and a certificate in permaculture design from the Permaculture Research Institute. Luke is a freelance photographer and travels all over the world for his projects. He enjoys learning languages, traveling, free diving, and reading.

Focus areas: Sustainable food systems, social justice, environmental conservation, the relationship between cultures and the natural world, and uncovering untold stories.
